The Camp
Our camp is one hour from Roanoke, VA and ninety minutes from Greensboro, NC in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia on the majestic Smith River in Patrick County, Virginia.
Directions:
From Roanoke: 220 South to Rocky Mount follow 40 West past Ferrum College to St Johns Loop Route 622, turn left on 622 follow until turns into gravel road follow for three miles until a white farmhouse on the left just past a cemetery which is on your right. 2446 Deer Run Road- St John’s Loop turns into Deer Run Road in Patrick County
From Christiansburg: Route 8 South off of I-81 exit 114 towards Woolwine, you will pass through Floyd, it is 32 miles to Woolwine on Route 8, at Methodist Church in Woolwine turn left on Route 40 just prior to Woolwine Elementary School follow signs for the Deer Run Campground turn right on Route 622 follow and pass Deer Run Campground, the camp is 1 mile past campground on the right turn into driveway at second white house past campground.
From Charlotte, NC: Take the Mt. Airy exit off of I-77 follow through Mt. Airy until you reach Route 8 in Virginia, route 89 dead ends into Route 8 when you reach Route 8 turn left and follow past Patrick County High School into Stuart, Virginia, in Stuart turn left and follow signs towards Woolwine, in Stuart Route 8 and 58 merge follow signs for Woolwine. In Woolwine just past elementary school turn right on Route 40 East, follow signs for Deer Run Campground, the camp is one mile on the right past the campground it is the second white house past the campground. 2446 Deer Run Rd
When you enter the camp pass the farmhouse and barns to the eating area for check-in.
