About Brenda

The only former top 10 player who is active full-time as a camp director.Brenda Schultz-McCarthy – one of woman’s professional tennis most exciting players for over ten years left home at eleven years old to pursue her tennis career. During that time she played the toughest competition, hired the world best coaches, and witnessed the top players’ creative training methods. This extensive training taught her that balance is the key to success.

The Netherlands top professional player for over 10 years, Brenda is known for the biggest serve in woman’s tennis (130 mph). A former top 10 player, 2 time Olympian and Fed Cup member, she has sixteen WTA titles with wins over Venus Williams, Lindsay Davenport, Monica Seles, Mary Pierce, Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario, Jennifer Capriati and Conchita Martinez

After eight years off of the tour; due to a back injury, six of those years being a camp director I thought I was done competing. My country called and I went to help the Fed-Cup Team, I thought I would be coaching and I ended up playing.  After three years of competing I decided to finally start a family. Sean and I now have two beautiful boys Brendan and Damien. In the summers we are now back at our original camp location in Virginia. We will be offering two different camps one for those who just want to grow their games, have fun and compete. The other for those with serious tennis goals which could be finding the best college, mapping out their career, advancing an already talented game, getting in optimal shape or rehabilitating an injury.

Brenda is a Guinness World Record Holder for fastest tennis Serve
